The BMW M4 Competition is the value pick in our Miami fleet. It rents for a fraction of what a Ferrari or Lamborghini costs per day and still puts down supercar numbers when you ask it to. Clients who book it usually have a specific use in mind: a content shoot that needs a sporty coupe without the supercar price tag, a weekend trip where parking is tight, or a driver who actually wants to drive rather than be seen.

A twin-turbo 3.0-liter inline-six putting out 503 hp through an 8-speed automatic and rear-biased all-wheel drive. 0-60 in 3.4 seconds with launch control engaged, which is faster than a Ferrari 488 from a decade ago. The chassis is the part that earns the M badge: stiffer than the base M4, with adaptive dampers and a track-tuned differential that lets you rotate the rear under throttle without losing the front end.

Carbon bucket seats with the M-shaped cutouts, leather and Alcantara on the wheel and shifter, two large screens that handle iDrive and instruments. BMW's infotainment runs Apple CarPlay and Android Auto wirelessly, which most exotics still don't. The back seats are real seats, not props, and the trunk fits a weekend bag. This is the practical end of our fleet.

The grille is the part people argue about, oversized vertical kidneys that BMW committed to in 2020 and still defends. Everything else on the M4 is right: wide rear haunches, quad exhaust, carbon roof, M-specific aero around the front bumper. We run ours in Sao Paulo Yellow, which is the loudest color BMW offers and works against a Miami background.

The M4 is the easiest car to book in our Miami lineup. Same-day pickup is usually available, the daily rate is friendlier than the supercars, and the insurance picture is simpler.
